Online TRE Introductory Workshop

  • InRoots Glebelands Court Looe, England, PL13 1FH United Kingdom (map)

If you are new to TRE, this introductory workshop is for you.

Or if you haven't done TRE in a long time, and you would like a refresher, you are welcome to join.

TRE is a proven self-care tool that has helped thousands of people around the world releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma. Getting back into feeling more relaxed and more connected with themselves. Physiologically experiencing less muscle and back pain, and a relief from chronic conditions.

There is no doubt that we all benefit from feeling more relaxed. Our body feels healthier, our mind is calmer, our sleep is better, our relationship with ourselves and others improves. When we're feeling calm and composed we can meet life's challenges better.

TRE is a neurophysiological approach. In this workshop you will learn about the history of TRE, neurophysiology and the body's stress response, how to self-regulate and use mindfulness practices to ground and balance your nervous system. The practical part of the session consists on learning how to use 7 exercises to activate an involuntary tremoring mechanism, which is natural and innate in humans. Once your body starts tremoring, you will be supported and guided through the shaking, learning how to feel comfortable with the whole experience. At the end of the session there will be time to share reflections and ask questions.
